The Red Fort, located in the old town northeast of Delhi, is the palace of the Mughal Empire period. It is named after the entire building was made of red-brown sandstone. This Islamic-style building is similar to Agra Fort. The tall red city walls are magnificent, the halls and museums in the castle are worth visiting, and the walls and stone pillars still have exquisite and complicated carvings.
