ABOUT FLAGMAN DESIGN STUDIO
For as long as I can remember, art has been a passion for me. It started with simple drawings, and moved on to more sophisticated artwork that outdistanced children my age (or so I presumptuously assumed). I planned on becoming an illustrator for Christian children's books. I was certain that this is what God had planned for me. Whether through my lack of confidence or simply because it was merely a step in the right direction, I never became an illustrator. I found that I was more adept with digital imaging and photography. I took several years of web design studies at Baker College, where I grew in skills. I was able to purchase the necessary equipment and software that has brought me to this state today. I started work as a photo processor at Meijer (a local retail chain), where I spent over two years learning about color balancing and better socialization skills. I enjoyed the company of multiple professional customers, who gave me tips on proper shot setups and methods of photography. I earned a reputation as a knowledgeable salesman and photographer. I have since moved on, but I still fondly remember my experiences there. In 2000, I started my own business named Flagman Web Design. It has since changed to Flagman Design Studio, because I realized I didn't focus only on web design, but photography and graphic design as well. But that's getting off track. I am sure you have repeatedly seen pompous accounts of how a business is somehow better than the rest. The announcers claim that their business helps the community or customer better than the other guys. Most business that give money to charity give pennies on the dollar, usually just to make themselves look good in the public eye. But please, believe me when I say that Flagman Design Studio is different. Because it really is. Okay - are you ready? Can I say it now? Flagman Design Studio is different. See, that wasn't that hard. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why my business is different from the rest. For every transaction completed for Flagman Design Studio, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a missionary in need. It is my vision that, through the success of my business, I can better aid the persecuted for Jesus Christ. It is with this different outlook on my business, as well as the gifts God has given me, that I hope to succeed. And when I say "portion", I don't mean the pennies on dollar. God has given me this mission field, so my focus is different. The portions given are sizable, and can change according to the need. So take a look around, check out the portfolio, drop a request for a price quote. You'll come to understand why Flagman Design Studio is different.
